Traditional Dry Irish Stout
Blackfriar is a traditional dry Irish stout. This black ale focuses on the dark side of what malt offers. Roasted, toasted and mildly bitter chocolate dominate in this beer that is remarkably restrained by a subtle mouth feel provided by water chemistry, hops and blended gas carbonation. Pale, chocolate and black malts combined with roasted barley and malted wheat. Sunday morning with a BLT – that’s what I’m talking about…. A bit above 4%/20 IBU’s/Dry hopping not relevant.
